Deployment of technology generally occurs as a series of discrete processes, with specific systems selected to support specific business needs. Successive applications are frequently commissioned without giving a great deal of consideration to architectural consistency or compatibility, resulting in a fragmented infrastructure, increased costs and dependencies on proprietry platforms. Additionally, fragmentation of overall business transaction flow can introduce multiple information   flow breaks, with a corresponding requirement for manual data entry replication and development of multiple ad-hoc data conversion and transaction upload processes, further increasing costs and risk. We have been involved in the development of IT strategies for a wide range of organisations, including major multi-nationals. Such activities are conducted with careful consideration to maximising existing investments in systems and skills whilst minimising organisational impact. < back
